Dr. Moss's Practice Philosophy:
Research shows that life has all of us under tremendous daily stresses that can impact our health on many levels. Typically, as we lose our adaptive and recovery capacities to these stresses, we correspondingly lose our health...developing pain-related conditions. To recover our health, we must first restore the functional integrity of our body, beginning with our core, which is our spine. We then must support this recovery with a healthier lifestyle of proper rest, proper nutrition and proper exercise...ideally in that order.
Dr. Moss specializes in the treatment of headache and back-related conditions, both acute pain care and the recovery care of chronic conditions, utilizing an integrated approach of chiropractic, massage and exercise rehabilitation.
Dr. Moss's care is a non-aggressive, low-force treatment that allows adjustments to be made without twisting or rotating a patient's neck or back. Patients rest comfortably on their stomach during treatment.
Our objective is to be successful in helping you. Simply and effectively, our programs offer support for your back and nerve system, and for improving your sleep, your nutrition and your exercise needs.

Martha Duval - Licensed Massage Therapist
Martha Duval has been with Life and Health since July of 2006. She specializes in therapeutic deep tissue massage, making it her mission to stay within all of her patients' pain tolerances to enhance their ability to heal, allowing the muscles to relax, rather than guard against recovery.
She also has a passion for modalities that utilize very light pressure with maximum results. These include Craniosacral Therapy, which works with the central nervous system, balancing the body to alleviate issues from headaches and physical pain; Lymphatic Drainage techniques to help reduce inflammation in certain post-surgery patients; and Jin Shin Do, a form of Acupressure that can help alleviate pain related to fibromyalgia, various types of neuralgia, muscular pain and headaches.
Martha is also a certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki is a modality that helps people to completely relax and reconnect to who they truly are. From a homeopathic perspective, it allows the patient to very gently reconnect their mind, body and spirit. She is able to use this modality when working with people who are dealing with cancer and any other life challenging issues.
